Spring 2020 Season

Due to COVID-19, this production has been indefinitely postponed. Stay tuned by following our social media for updates on the future of Stop Kiss.

Sara and Carrie share their first kiss in the streets of New York and are violently attacked by a bystander.

The incident leaves Sara gravely injured and comatose. Stop Kiss explores the relationships that develop before and after the attack, and the effects it has on those involved.

Stop Kiss was carefully chosen in response to the ever-present and troubling scenes of homophobia and homophobic assaults in the news. New Renaissance invites the audience to explore how queer relationships are formed, maintained and even ended when forced into the public eye.
